The existing buildings shall need an assessment to determine the likely behavior of the building during a seismic event.

Initial Seismic Assessment(ISA) provides a broad indication of the likely level of Seismic performance of a building and is based on the guidelines provided by the New Zealand Society of Earthquake Engineering(NZSEE).
