Avinash is a Chartered Professional Engineer with over 22 years of experience in structural engineering, having worked in the UK, Middle East, India. For the past eight years in New Zealand, he has contributed to various projects in Waikato and delivered projects in residential, commercial, Industrial space . He is committed to the practical and safe designs and focuses on client needs and provides solutions to complex engineering challenges.

Recent Projects
Seismic Assessment of Argyle House, Hamilton Boys’ High School
This project involved undertaking a Detailed Seismic Assessment (DSA) of the buildings at Argyle House, Hamilton Boys’ High School. The assessment covered two structures: a two-storey dormitory building and a single-storey kitchen and dining facility.
All inspections were planned to avoid disturbing the normal functioning of the dormitory which added a lot of value to the client.

Design of Extension to Northgate Community Church
This project involved the structural design and analysis for building an extension to the Northgate Community Church at 97C Borman Road, Hamilton.
This structure demanded working closely with the Architects and other stakeholders to achieve the large column free space for the community hall.
We also took initiative to add further value to the project by improving the original concept that allowed minimal disturbances to existing church structure and would also make future extensions easier and more integrated.
Multiple Projects for Waikato District Health Board
We have been working closely with Waikato District Health Board since 2023 and have provided a wide range of structural Engineering services over the years. Some of the key services include:
1) Assessment of floor slabs for new openings and machinery
2) Design for installation and movement of new and/or heavy machinery
3) Design of tall internal walls and partitions
4) Design of ceilings and equipment fixings
5) Design of new decks/extensions for better patient care
During our association, we have always appreciated the importance of even trivial looking aspects and equipment on the smooth functioning of the hospital. Re-routing or disconnecting some services even temporarily have a major impact on the functioning of facility unlike in many traditional buildings. Hence, any structural intervention (if required) is always carefully developed working closely with multiple stakeholders of the hospital to avoid (or minimize if unavoidable) disturbances to the smooth functioning of hospital.
